In celebration of National Hispanic Heritage Month, the Franklin Institute offers a day of special programming designed to highlight the contribution of Philadelphia locals and organizations that help educate and nourish our Latino community.

Guests on this celebratory day can make their own Vejigante Mask and Flags with El Concilio. Janssen R&D Spring House Campus will also be onsite to provide visitors with an understanding of different types of sutures and stitches by designing a take-home suture model using materials including yarn, plastic lacing, and pipe cleaners.

Plus, all month long, the museum shines a spotlight on Latino scientists making an impact on communities in our region and across the nation through a highlight video playing hourly in the Ben Franklin National Memorial.

Included with general museum admission.

Braskem is the Presenting Sponsor of the Hispanic Heritage Month Celebration at The Franklin Institute, and Merck & Co., Inc. is the Associate Sponsor. Janssen Biotech, Inc., is the Event Partner.
