We knew this was coming! Would’t be surprised to see a mandatory vaccination within the next year or so in order to travel on foreign and domestic flights.
On January 12, 2021 the CDC announced covid19 testing requirements for passengers arriving in the United States is mandatory starting January 26, 2021. You are now required to be tested no more than three days (72 hours) before ALL flights arriving from foreign countries.
US Citizens 2 years and older are also required to show a negative covid test prior to boarding domestic flights (private and charter) to slow the spread of the virus.
You must show proof of a negative viral (NAAT or Antigen) test or documentation of recovery from covid19 before boarding your flight.
Remember timing is everything! If you have a layover more than 24 hours you must test yet again prior to boarding the next flight.
Be sure to check travel requirements HERE prior to traveling as they are updated daily.
