Not everyone is born with a green thumb! Have you ever killed a cactus? Don’t judge us; it can happen! Just because cactuses don’t need much water, they still need lots of light, attention, and love.
Isolation brought a whole new perspective on taking care of not only ourselves but other living things. While many people were adopting cats and dogs in droves, we know that pets require more attention than we can give right now. But don’t sleep on plants!
They don’t make noise, clean the air, are aesthetically pleasing to the eye, and you get to see them grow and require minimal maintenance.
Although we have been growing plants for years, this is the first time we’ve had longevity during the process. Maybe it’s because of being in the house more you start to notice the small things and cherish them! Like naming our plants, they are our babies and part of the family.
We’ve gotten so much inspiration from other plant lovers like Trey of “What’s One More Phothos.” He is an entire vibe with “The Green Room; a mix of music, decor, and sharing his life as a dope plant daddy.

Rooting for everyone black with plants, and we like that! In 2019 It started as a hobby to make plant pots for personal use, and as the internet does, when they find a gem, they make it go viral. These plant pots make a statement and are great conversational pieces. With these bold statements, you can celebrate black history every day.

The Natty Garden is one of Brooklyn’s best-kept secrets! All of your gardening needs, from plant care to landscaping services, indoor and outdoor plants, they have it all! It is the definition of an urban garden. In the past nine years, they have tripled in space and have added a very special addition to the family, The “Natty Pet Shop”! They have you covered for those who are ready or those who may already have a furry family member. Supplying your pet needs, and they do local deliveries.
