In the early 1900s, Grandfather De Souza Creusailor travelled from Portugal to Mozambique with his chilli sauce and chutney recipes, and he married a local girl. He soon passed the secret recipes to his only son Anthony (Stan’s Father), who migrated to Zimbabwe. Anthony eventually passed on the secret to his son, Stan Creusailor who presently lives in North Wales, UK.

Stan and his wife, Val felt compelled to share the superlative chilli sauce of their homeland, and Goch sauces emerged. Goch & Co. was founded by Stan and Val Creusailor in May 2012. Our love of chilli sauce and fiery, great-tasting foods was nurtured in Zimbabwe. Our products are inspired by our secret family recipe and our rich Southern African heritage where homegrown spices and pickle making for celebrations, build strong foundations for family bonds and traditions. ‘Goch’ means red in Welsh, and is ‘slang’ for BBQ in Shona.
