Mohegan Sun Casino at Virgin Hotels Las Vegas officially opened its doors to the public on Thursday, March 25, 2021, at 6:00 pm in the 60,000-square foot premium gaming venue. With more than 650 slot machines, 50 game tables including favorites like Blackjack, Roulette, Baccarat, Craps, and Three-Card-Poker.
Present were Interim CEO Ray Pineault, and Mohegan Tribal Councilors Joe Soper and Ken Davison.
Tribal Councilors Joe Soper and Ken Davison presented a gift of hand-crafted Mohegan gourd, a Mohegan blanket, and sweetgrass per Mohegan tradition to Richard “Boz” Bosworth, President & CEO of JC Hospitality and owner of Virgin Hotels Las Vegas and Lou Serafini, President and Chief Executive Officer of Fengate.
Celebrities like Actor and TV Host Mario Lopez, “The Bachelor” Matt James and Chrisell Stause, and “Real Housewives of New Jersey” star Melissa Gorga to name a few attended and were seen playing at the blackjack and craps tables.
This is a an amazing step towards diversity on the Las Vegas Strip.
