The Official Motown Playlist, 'Return To Wonder,' will be released to coincide with ABC’s “The Wonder Years” episode "I'm With the Band," airing tomorrow WEDNESDAY, JAN. 19

Who remembers the hit show “The Wonder Years” with Fred Savage? Inspired by the hit tv show is the premiere of a new coming of age spin on the hit show under the same name.

This comedy tells the story of the Williams family, a Black middle-class family living in Montgomery, Alabama, during the late 1960s, told through the eyes of 12-year old Dean (Elisha “EJ” Williams), narrated by the talented Don Cheadle. Produced by 20th Television, part of Disney Television, and executive produced by Fred Savage, Lee Daniels, Saladin K. Patterson, Bob Daily, and Marc Velez.

Starting Dulé Hill as Bill Williams, Saycon Sengbloh as Lillian Williams, Laura Kariuki as Kim Williams, Julian Lerner as Brad Hitman, Amari O’Neil as Cory Long, and Milan Ray as Keisa Clemmons.

In this episode, “I’m With the Band,” Dean loses his position as the first chair saxophonist in the school band. Dad, Bill (Dulé Hill), applies pressure on Dean to get his position back. But after a talk with Lillian (Saycon Sengbloh), Bill realizes that he’s living out his dreams through Dean.

“Return to Wonder,” The Official Motown Playlist, will be released in conjunction with ABC’s “The Wonder Years” airing WEDNESDAY, JAN. 19 (8:30-9:00 p.m. EST), on ABC.
