JOIN WEST PARK ARTS FEST AS THEY CELEBRATE 15 YEARS!
Philadelphia, PA – Presented by West Park Cultural Center and Fairmount Park Conservancy, the West Park Arts Fest celebrates its 15th Anniversary on Saturday, June 10, 2023, from 1:00 to 6:00 pm. West Park Arts Fest brings communities together in the park to celebrate Philadelphia’s arts and cultural diversity while promoting greater awareness of the area’s history and heritage.
This free, family-friendly event occurs in West Fairmount Park on South Concourse Drive from East Memorial Hall Drive to 41st Street. The summer festival kick-off features two stages:
- The Music Stage/FunkFest will feature headliner Urban Guerilla Orchestra. Dianne Thompson curates the line-up, including Johnny Jupiter, Badd Kitti, Everyday People, The Kirk Abernathy Experience, and host comedienne, K-Mack.
- A Dance Stage/Second Stage will showcase outstanding professional and youth talent, including West Park Cultural Center’s danceLogic, BalletX, Philadelphia Jazz Tap Ensemble, and more to be announced.
The children’s activity zone includes artmaking activities led by some of our partners, face painting, science, and other activities for all ages. The Handmade Marketplace will feature as many as 60 art/craft and other vendors. The always popular historical trolley tour of the Fairmount Park Centennial District, narrated by Kathy Lee, is back.

Beautiful West Fairmount Park provides the site and backdrop for the festival that has brought record crowds and drawn praise from festival-goers of all ages. The festival embraces partnership and has, over the years, been made possible significantly by the participation of many arts, cultural, and community partners across Philadelphia. West Park Arts Fest partners include: The Mann, Please Touch Museum, Shofuso Japanese House and Garden, Tree House Books, and more to be announced.
