6IX9INE -THE GREATEST SNITCH OF ALL TIME
We were wondering when rapper Daniel Hernandez (6IX9INE) was going to make an appearance after being released from prison in early April 2020.
Well Friday May 8th, 2020 he released his debut video “Gooba” and a statement on Instagram live. Clearly not caring about being labled a “snitch”, displaying a rat in his video.
Listening to the lyrics he isn’t phased by what people are saying. “Your mad, I’m back, big mad”, “Tell me how a rat come home to a big bag”. For those who don’t know he signed a $10M record deal. House arrest doesn’t seem to be slowing down his hustle.
What do you think about the stigma of street code: “snitches get stitches”? Those associated in criminal activity would be loyal to thier partners and refrain from discussing any information about thier dealings to the police in fear of retaliation, etc.. From the looks of it, this may be the first of many.
Six9ine’s release from prison may be a prime example that loyalty doesn’t mean a thing. Going forward the new generation are making thier own set of rules!
