The Power of Love, Journey of Hope, Healing, and Unyielding Resilience for Children Overcoming Loss
Argyro Graphy, the award-winning author of multiple children’s books, and creator of the Bentley Hippo brand, has announced the upcoming release of her latest book, ‘Winston’s Forever Blanket.’ The book tells the heartwarming story of a distraught bunny searching for his lost blanket, which represents the love, comfort, and extraordinary bond he shared with his mother, who has passed away.
‘Winston’s Forever Blanket’ is a touching story that encourages children to cherish memories and find ways to honor those who have passed. This book is guaranteed to bring comfort to children struggling with grief and separation anxiety, with its bright illustrations and charming rhyme.
“This book is very close to my heart, as it was written for a 6-year-old who lost his mother,” says Argyro Graphy. “I believe that it will be an invaluable tool for parents, teachers, and caregivers dealing with children who are struggling with grief and loss. Â It encourages children to express their emotions and also find ways to support others experiencing grief.”
The story was written with the help of Winston’s classmates and six children that Argyro mentors in her writing workshops.
“Such a beautiful and comforting way to describe love and loss and how our memories and tangible treasures left behind can soothe and help cope in times of grief.” – children’s mental health and well-being advocate
The book is available for pre-order on Kickstarter from July 25th to August 24th. In order to allow the book to be published, printed, and distributed to grieving children and families worldwide, your help is needed.
