Award-Winning Mini-Documentary Film exploring how one dreamer leaves Houston for Hollywood, to reset her mind, body and spirit – in 365 days will premiere on Aspire TV.
From debut TV producer, Micole Williams, comes the film 365 Days in LA, talking about the cross-country pursuit of storytelling. The mini-documentary film 365 Days in LA – will make its TV premiere on Aspire and Aspire TV Life’s Urban Indie Film Block episode #506 “Lost, yet Found”. It will premiere on Wednesday, September 28th at 8p ET followed by an encore airing on 9/28 at 10p. 365 Days in LA documentary is a relatable and timely documentary exploring how a Houstonian navigates Hollywood as an aspiring TV writer and the pivotal moments that led to this urgent uprooting during the pandemic. Inspiration is woven into four seasons of high hopes and the inevitable downs along the way through the idea that in the land of many nos, one may find it’s never too late for one yes – the one they give themselves. The goal of this documentary is to empower people to choose life. The documentary also empowers Indie and BIPOC artists in small towns or outside of entertainment hubs to activate their “inner creative” to find the courage to tell their own distinct stories and to “greenlight” themselves.
About the Filmmaker
Micole Williams is an eclectic force who loves being lit for life. The native Houston, Texan is an internationally featured writer and publisher now based in Los Angeles. She is the author of the satirical romantic series, TANGLED WEB OF TRUE LOVE TALES and creator, director and producer of the indie short film series under the same title. TOXIC TIES TRILOGY is her second book series. She made the Amazon’s Best Seller list with her debut nonfiction title, “Miss Lit for Life Lessons”. She earned her MFA in screenwriting at Houston Baptist University in 2021. She was a 2021 James Baldwin’s Urban Writer-in-Residence. In the unscripted TV space, she has served as a Sequester Manager for CBS’ Big Brother and an Associate Producer for TV One’s Unsung Specials. In the scripted space, her screenplay, Yellow Cloud was an official selection at the 2022 New York Athena Film Festival / TV Writers Lab. She’s enjoyed being a featured author at three major Texas universities, NAACP Convention, NABJ.org, and other national platforms. Her most recent writing/producing/directing project is an autobiographical documentary about her recent journey, “365 Days in LA”.
