Philadelphia, PA – The West Park Arts Fest, presented by West Park Cultural Center and Fairmount Park Conservancy, celebrates its 14th year on Saturday, June 11, 2022, in West Fairmount Park. Located on South Concourse Drive from East Memorial Hall Drive to 41st Street, live music and dance performances, artmaking, other activities, and an art/craft marketplace will engage all ages from 1:00 pm to 6:00 pm. West Park Arts Fest brings communities together in the park to promote greater awareness of the area’s history and heritage while celebrating Philadelphia’s arts and cultural diversity.

Beautiful West Fairmount Park provides the site and backdrop for the festival and has brought record crowds and drawn praise from festival-goers of all ages. The festival embraces partnership and has over the years been made possible in significant part to the participation of many arts, cultural, and community partners across Philadelphia.

Headlining this year’s Music Stage, Funk Fest is Philly’s own Snack Time. Curated by Dianne Thompson, the line-up also includes Philly Fusion Project, Badd Kitti, The Funky Brethren, and Philly Gumbo & the New Orleans Funk Dance Party. In addition to featuring local and regional musicians on the Music Stage, the Dance Stage will feature performances by Sound Space Performing Arts, Penn Chinese Dance Club, West Park Cultural Center’s danceLogic, Kun-Yang Lin Dancers, Young Flames, Seeds of Culture, audience participation in line dancing and more to be announced. The event will engage the young and seasoned in dance, artmaking, and other activities.

Tree House Books, Mill Creek Community Partnership, Sound Space Performing Arts, Centennial Parkside CDC, Shofuso Japanese House and Garden, The Franklin Institute, The Philadelphia Zoo, The Mann Center, DaVinci Art Alliance, Please Touch Museum, U-City Art Walk, Mural Arts Philadelphia, Philadelphia 16th Police District, and more are participating as Partners.
