ANNESAH SMITH
I had the opportunity to attend this sold-out event yesterday and it was well worth it.
Philadelphia’s Black Food and Dessert Expo was jam-packed with great food, drinks, desserts, vendors, and happy people!
From cupcakes to soul food, cheesecake bean pies, vegan and vegetarian options. You name it, they had it!
Aneesah Smith, the brainchild behind the expo was cultivated in 2017, wanting to unite the community with good food and business sense. Don’t just take my word for it. Listen to what she had to say…
Aneesha is giving black chefs and vendors in the surrounding area a platform to share their products, network, and build their brand.
Not only does she support the community, but also shares her skills with those with limited skills in the kitchen, by way of cooking classes for adults and children.
If you’re a foodie like I am, be sure to attend the next Black Food and Dessert Expo being held:
July 20th, 2019
Tickets can be purchased here by clicking the flyer:

I’m glad you had a great time. The food looks delicious. Happy Easter!
I had such a fabulous time! Everything was delicious and the music and the people were great. I hope that it sales out again this summer and I would love to see this as a weekend event. I can see people coming from out of town to enjoy this on an annual basis.
I’m so glad you had a fabulous time. I hope it continues. An annual event would be great. But, a weekend event would be even better!
