I had the opportunity to attend this sold out event yesterday and it was well worth it.

Philadelphia’s Black Food and Dessert Expo was jam packed with great food, drinks, desserts, vendors, and happy people!

From cupcakes, to soul food, cheesecake bean pies, vegan and vegetarian options. You name it, they had it!

Aneesah Smith, the brainchild behind the expo was cultivated in 2017, wanting to unite the community with good food and business sense. Don’t just take my word for it. Listen to what she had to say…

The Kupcake Bar

Aneesha is giving black chefs and vendors in the surrounding area a platform to share their products, network, and build their brand.

Not only does she support the community, but also sharing her skills to those with limited skills in the kitchen, by way of cooking classes for adults and children.

      • I’m so glad you had a fabulous time. I hope it continues. An annual event would be great. But, a weekend event would be even better!
