Welcome to Lady B Way

Wendy Clark, aka Lady B, was honored with a street named after her on Saturday, August 13th, by the city of Philadelphia for her contribution to the community and for being a revered female Radio DJ and Hip Hop Pioneer. One of the first female hip-hop artists to record a single, “To The Beat, Y’all,” in 1979 on the Sugar Hill Record label. Clark also went on to have a respected career in the DJ industry spanning decades.
