Our hat goes off to Herb’N Eden, herbal soap and body care brand, for closing a $1.2 million investment from Core Venture Studio and Mercantile Venture Capital.
From the farmer’s market to the most intimate part, our skin. Their products are all-natural, plant-based, handcrafted, and non-toxic. Made with botanicals and grade essential oils that are aromatherapeutic to help maintain healthy skin.
Efforts have paid off to scale their growing business, which notably went from a profit of $260k in 2020 to $2.6M at the end of 2021 during the pandemic, showing their resilience and the customer satisfaction they guarantee.
“Through our tremendous growth, we still maintained the same formula and process of making our products,” says Terran Lewis. “We know Black-owned businesses face challenges around funding and equitable partnerships. For us, it was important we remain the majority owners and stay faithful to the tried-and-true process our supporters count on us for.”
