Welcome back to another episode of MANIC MONDAY! The spotlight is shining bright on 47 (but she doesn’t look a day over 25) year old celebrity stylist, creative director, author, costume designer, and self-proclaimed “rock mom”, June Ambrose!!
This Antigua-born island gal has been on the fashion scene for over two decades, styling for the likes of Sean (P Diddy) Combs, Missy Elliot, Busta Rhymes, Mary J. Blige, Gabrielle Union, Kerry Washington, etc…
While working in the finance industry for years, by a sheer twist of fate got the opportunity to intern with Uptown/ Motown records, and the rest is history.
Like a mad scientist, Ambrose made the decision to put Missy Elliot in that black suit for the video “The Rain (Supa Dupa Fly)” below. Complete perfection!
We can’t forget about Busta Rymes ft. Janet Jackson “Whats it gonna be”. To date one of my favorites.
By mixing colors, textures, and patterns Mrs. June Ambrose can rock a curtain and look like a million bucks!
The one thing that sets June apart is her ability to color outside of the lines and that’s why we shine the light on her, but she doesn’t need the recognition because she sparkles all on her own!
