Monday, September 12th Philadelphia Rapper Rakim Hasheem Allen, who goes by the name PnB Rock and is well known for his 2016 hit “Selfish,” was fatally shot after an attempted robbery while dining at Roscoe’s House of Chicken and Waffles in South Los Angeles California.
TMZ reported the shooting around 1:20 pm CT, where a graphic scene depicts PnB Rock lying on the restaurant’s floor in a pool of blood, fighting for his life.
PnB Rock was rushed to the hospital and pronounced dead at 1:59 pm CT. He was only 30 years old, leaving behind two children, family, and friends.
The details of the shooting allegedly stem from a geo-location tag of his whereabouts with a post of the rapper and his girlfriend dining. Vanguard shared a statement from LA Police Department Captain Kelly Muniz. “The victim was shot almost immediately by the assailant during the robbery,” “He shot the victim and ran out the side door to a getaway car and then fled the parking lot.” No other people were injured, and police are currently reviewing the surveillance video.
