The world stopped after hearing that our king of Wakanda, Chadwich Boseman passed away August 28th, 2020 as a result of complications related to colon cancer.

There were whispers that he was sick, due to his dramatic weight loss, but it was never confirmed.

“Boseman was diagnosed with stage III colon cancer in 2016, which eventually progressed to stage IV before 2020. He never spoke publicly about his diagnosis. During treatment, involving multiple surgeries and chemotherapy, he continued to work and completed production for several films, including Marshall, Da 5 Bloods, Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom, and others.”

But it was his recent role in Spike Lee’s Da 5 Bloods that had us feeling emotional. Not even Spike Lee knew of Boseman’s illness as he played the role of Stormin Norman a solder who was influental not only in life but also in death.

Boseman will be missed and our condulances go out to his wife and family.
