After shattering all the rules by becoming the 1st sneaker company ever owned by a woman athlete, this bold Black-owned brand continues to grow. TRONUS announced a partnership with a franchise owner of multiple locations of The Athlete’s Foot, who’s company launched a signature program to increase African American representation and ownership within the sneaker industry last year. TRONUS connects with fans via upcoming events to celebrate multiple new partnerships and products.

This partnership marks the first time TRONUS has landed a presence at multiple in-person locations at once. Having started online, with sales only available via their online store, in the beginning, the customer-forward company grew a loyal following quickly, thanks in big part to CEO Santia Deck. Deck built and maintained a hyper-loyal following over the years. First as a track phenom in college, later as a celebrity fitness trainer, and then as a female football superstar. Santia’s influence evolved and thrived as she has. She converted her fans into fans of the TRONUS brand and their unisex footwear upon launching the company. Her team then leveraged the impressive grassroots growth of TRONUS to get the company’s shoes on platforms like Eastbay.com and into the hands of celebrities, from pro athletes to top rappers.

“It’s rare that we take time to stop and think about how much we’ve accomplished since we started – especially with the odds that were up against us – because we work nonstop. Partnerships like these are a great reason to look back on where we started and get even more excited for where we’re going next,” shared Cynthia Cureton-Robles – TRONUS COO and Deck’s mother. The feeling of family that is evident within the TRONUS team spreads to the customers they connect with – affectionally called the “TRONUS tribe” – and the partners they select. Working together with 9 Black-owned locations of The Athlete’s Foot stores is the latest example. More news of similar collaborations are on the way.

This news comes just as the latest products available from TRONUS are starting to arrive on customers’ doorsteps as pre-orders are being delivered. The much-awaited Luxe Recovery Slides and Performance Low Tops were in the Pre-Order phase and will now be available directly. The Atlanta-based company coordinated a massive public launch where new and current customers were able to try on and purchase the new athletic performance low tops and luxury memory foam slides. Pop-up shops at the West End location of The Athlete’s Foot, Krown Me located in Stonecrest Mall, and multiple locations of Crunch Fitness around the greater Atlanta area took place on Saturday, June 4th – the same day the new products available directly through the TRONUS website. To mark the occasion, TRONUS also made its signature “Royal Deliveries.” Following along via the TRONUS social media feeds (Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and LinkedIn) is a great way to stay updated on celebrity deliveries, pop-up shop events, and more.
