Zuvaa’s Grand Reopening
Did you miss it? Let me fill you in. Zuvaa has reopened.
Zuvaa is an online marketplace for African Fashion and Designs to sell and showcase their pieces. Kelechi Anyadiegwu, founder and CEO of Zuvaa has been fabulous and very transparent over the past several months issuing an open letter to her customers back in November, 2017.
They ran into a few snags with the business (minimal staff, website issues, over projections, etc.).
I would like to say it takes a real woman to stand up and admit her mistakes!Â
Kelechi even appeared on Shark Tank this past Sunday January 21st, 2018 seeking $460,000 for 10 percent equity.
While being offered  $460,000 as a loan (12 percent interest with 10 percent equity) by Kevin O’Leary, Kelechi declined and walked away. Wise decision!
No shade to Shark Tank, but Oprah….we know you’re busy getting Golden Globes, but can you help a sister out?Â
“In the meantime, in between time”, Zuvaa  has partnered with Afrikrea.com as a platform to purchase high quality African Inspired fashion, including mens wear, children’s items, home decor, accessories, etc.
We all fall short from grace….pick yourself up, dust yourself off and keep pushing forward.
Wishing Zuvaa continued success. Show your support and stay fabulous.

Awesome designs. I’m always trying to be involved (as a photographer) in our small but growing African fashion community in Detroit. They are so creative and focused on quality
