Have you heard that Trump has put a ban not only on Sudan, Tanzania, Eritrea, etc. but now Nigeria! Nigeria has one of the Continents biggest economy, so the repercussions can be devastating.
The Trump Ban shows that we as a people have to do better in our choices at this point and going forward especially in the next presidential election.
So what does this ban mean? The U.S. will stop issuing visas for travelers seeking permanent residency from Nigeria. Restrictions go into effect on February 22, 2020. So if you are a Nigerian American then your relatives will no be able to visit at all. “Designated refugees, students holding visas, and those traveling for temporary business are exempt from the restrictions, administration officials said“.
Trump is quoted as saying “We’re adding a couple of countries to it,” “We have to be safe. Our country has to be safe. You see what’s going on in the world. Our country has to be safe.” REALLY!!!! Nigerians have made the county unsafe?
